DENVER — Aug. 30, 2021 — Doors Open Denver (DOD), the premier event showcasing the richness and history of Denver’s built environment and promoting quality design, presented by Denver Architecture Foundation (DAF), will take place from Sept. 27 through Oct. 17, featuring 10 sites never before offered during DOD. The 2021 event includes virtual tours, in-person tours and archived virtual tours from 2020.

  The virtual tours will take place Mondays through Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., featuring iconic and unique spaces in Denver, Boulder and Colorado Springs, including cultural, commercial, private, and civic sites. Locations include the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum in Colorado Springs, Loretto Heights: Pancratia Hall and the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder. Tickets for virtual tours cost $12 and are available for purchase online beginning Aug. 30.

  In-person tours take place Saturdays and Sundays with four tours per day. Sites include Fruitdale School Lofts, McGregor Square, Red Rocks Amphitheatre and City Park. To prioritize public safety, capacity for in-person tours is limited. Members may purchase tickets beginning Aug. 30 for $25; ticket sales open to nonmembers on Sept. 13 with a price of $30.
