Every year the National Kitchen and Bath Association throws a party called KBIS – Kitchen and Bath Industry Show. This is the North America’s largest trade show dedicated to all aspects of kitchen and bath design and, is an inspiring, interactive platform that showcases the latest industry products, trends and technologies from hundreds of exhibitors. Setting the course for the industry. Trends are established. Products are launched. People are discovered. And businesses are fueled!

KBIS is the place where the global residential design community meets in-person and for the year ahead. It’s a big one that takes over most of the Las Vegas Convention Center and the industries leading companies from cabinetry, countertops, plumbing, appliances, hardware and tile come together to show off their latest and greatest. Two of our designers, Zane Brunetti and Stacy McFadden walked miles for two days, to bring back some of the exciting new products and trends to share with you!

Let’s begin with appliances. Our showroom partner, and industry leader, Monogram, lead the way with some of the most innovative and style forward looks at the show. They have had their brass collection for a couple of years now (spoiler alert that we have the 48” brass hood in our showroom) but now are featuring a titanium series of panels and handles for their refrigerators, freezers, wine cellars and undercounter units. These two finishes are bold and contemporary and offer coordinating handle options, but also leather and metal handles for their ovens and ranges. Additionally, they continue to offer unique products like their indoor pizza oven and the new(ish) Forge Heated Ice Press that makes a perfectly clear ice sphere for those particular about their cocktail ice. You all know who you are!

In the plumbing world the two giants continue to innovate and dominate. We’ve been a huge fan of the Toto Neorest toilets for years, but this year they’ve come out with two new models with new features and new styling. Bidet toilets and seats have been a huge segment of the market since 2020, but NX2 takes this to a whole new level. While still featuring all of the benefits of their classic Neorest line, the clean light technology, four person settings and new organic design make this one a stand out.

Kohler introduced their newest collaboration with Shea McGee, of Studio McGee, which was a main stage event. This line highlights the trend of casual elegance featuring soft wood and paint tones on vanities, brushed gold, polished nickel fixtures and a fully curated line of complimentary accessories and mirrors. There are even kitchen faucets and a pot filler in all of the Kohler finishes.

Our neighbor and design partner, Galleria of Stone, was well represented by Antolini – provider of the most elegant and exotic stone surfaces in the industry. Antolini created an amazing maze of backlit quartzites, allowing attendees to fully immerse themselves in the stone through 10’ corridors of some of the most impressive stone the earth has to offer!

Lastly, but certainly not least, is the return of color. Not just any color, but bold, forward color. Think pink kitchen islands,  green bath tubs and kitchen ranges in any color you can imagine. Are all white bathrooms and kitchens a thing of the past? KBIS proved that various shades of green; Fresh Green, Aspen Green, and Teal, are taking the main stage and will most likely not just be a fading trend. Even more intriguing are combinations that evoke eclectic and bohemian styling, mixing color, texture and patterns to create truly unique looks.

Is your head spinning? Don’t fret, as always we would love to welcome you in our renovated Kitchens on Broadway showroom, make you a good cup of coffee and talk about all of the new and exciting trends from KBIS and how we can design something incredible for you.
