We want to take this opportunity to reach out to all of you, our neighbors, friends, customers, and loyal supporters this holiday season, to thank you for the support that you have shown Historic South Gaylord Street over the years. We know that the changes happening on South Gaylord Street can create some confusion and apprehension regarding the direction of the block, and we want to assure you that we will remain the same quaint and friendly neighborhood gathering-place as always.

Historic South Gaylord Street has gone through many changes in the past 100 years or so, and it remains one of Denver’s most beautiful, charming, and historic streets. It is a street where a shop owner knows your style by heart, and helps you choose that perfect outfit. It’s a place where you can meet a colleague for happy hour, or take your family to dinner, and the waiter greets you by name and remembers your favorite drink. It’s a street where you can raise a glass with friends and dance under the stars at one of the community events hosted there each year. Historic South Gaylord Street has been, and will continue to be a truly a special part of our community!

This time of year is especially beautiful on our lovely little block, and we invite you to spend some time with us this holiday season. The Wash Park community has proven to value the idea of supporting local and shopping small. We’ve paid attention to this and our shops are stocked for the holidays and we are looking forward to helping you find the perfect gifts for your loved ones! Our restaurants are ready to host you as you celebrate the holidays or ring in the new year with friends and family. And on December 14th, Santa Claus himself will be on hand at Holiday Fest to help spread some holiday cheer!

We are looking forward to 2020, as we welcome new businesses to the block. Change can be exciting and we can’t wait to welcome the many new faces that these businesses will bring! We also have a whole lineup of fun community events in store, including some old favorites such as Kickoff to Summer and Trick or Treat Street, as well as some new events, so stay tuned. Firefly Market was one of the new events we hosted last year, and the feedback we received was amazing. We took your comments to heart and they will be back for their second year this summer!

Above all else, we are so very thankful for the continued support from all of you, and we are looking forward to a bright future on Old South Gaylord Street!
