“Last year’s words belong to last year’s language and next year’s words await another voice. And to make an end is to make a beginning.”

– T.S. Eliot

Before we head down the road of new beginnings we want to pause and thank you for your unwavering support of this passion project of ours. It’s been a wild seven years and so many of you have been with us from the beginning. By now you know our patterns; we love a female portrait for our covers, but occasionally will switch things up to keep you guessing. We are head over heels for organizations and individuals who selflessly make a difference each day

with their work. Introducing you to new artists, makers, musicians and designers is our love language. This work has connected us to some truly remarkable people. We’re endlessly grateful to every single artist, writer, thinker, partner, sponsor, creative, neighbor, friend and relative, who has been a part of this. You are the threads of these stories. We applaud you for continuing to support the local, brave new business owners, artists, and non profits inside these pages. So we dedicate this issue, the 83 that preceded, and all of those to come, to you.

Your neighbors,

Shaleen and Sam DeStefano
