“The sun continues to rise, the seasons continue to change, and we lose time like it means nothing to us. We wish it away, and then remark that the good times never last long enough – and while time keeps secrets, it will eventually show us the truth, but for now, the days behind me are outnumbered by the days ahead, and I sit quietly, unsure of when that will change.” – Seyda Noir
This quote caught us in our tracks, because of the bittersweet notion of time being a thief and also the keeper
of the unknown. It encourages us to slow down, and take note of the moments that go unnoticed. There’s something about summer that brings the feeling of promise. Promise of uncharted territory. Maybe it’s because of the longer days. Whatever the reason, we will welcome the feeling and embrace all of the adventures that await us.
