Being parents of three, we are no stranger to hearing “cherish these days, because time flies.” The only thing that could have possibly made the speed at which the days turn into weeks more apparent to us, would be to put out a magazine each month. It was November of 2016 when we decided that we wanted desperately to deliver something to the world that fulfilled our own creative juices, while highlighting arts, culture and supporting local businesses. There was so much good happening around us during a bleak time and we were nagged with the feeling that we absolutely had to highlight the positive to block out any bad vibes trying to cloud our vision. And that in a nutshell is how Urban Life Wash Park was born. If any of you know us personally, you’ve heard us say that this is pretty similar to delivering a baby each month. Joy, blood, sweat and tears go into each issue and then we send it off to you.

So here we are with month twelve in the books, and over the past year we have heard from many of you. Your kindness, support and eagerness to be involved in our journey has been such an amazing part of this whole experience. We have made so many new friends in this process and have been able to introduce all of you to some pretty great humans. This is a big win in our books and we can’t wait to see what the new year brings. With that in mind, please write, call, text, shout from the rooftops what you would like to see from us in 2018. In the meantime, take care and we’ll see you around the neighborhood.
