“Never stop spamming the timeline

with all the things that you love

if you live in a beautiful place

show me

if you are in love

show me

if you ate something delicious

I wanna see

though I may skip through

the 207th baby pic

by God, you should post them

your art, your music

your kitchen designs

the books you have read

your poems that don’t rhyme

fill this life with all you love

and share the joy with me

– David Gate

This poem struck us, because we kind of like to think of this magazine as a collection of people, organizations, art and words that we love. If you know someone who is creating something, making a difference through service, writing a book, making a film, working with clay, saving the bees and selling honey from their backyard,  has a damn good lasagna recipe, or simply is just an outstanding human, tell us about them. We will keep putting this out until we’ve met every last one of you. We treasure this community and we’re grateful to be a part of it in some small way.

Your neighbors,

Shaleen and Sam DeStefano
