“Green was the silence, wet was the light, the month of June trembled like a butterfly.” – Pablo Neruda

It’s that time of year when the days get long and the nights stay sticky. The song of the cicadas fill the air and mingle with the intoxicating smell of blooms and fresh cut grass. By now we’ve dusted off our seasonal depression and remember that we do in fact have the ability to find the beauty in the small things. Like sleeping in past 7am, walking barefoot through the grass, running through sprinklers, supporting our local lemonade stands, juicy

peaches and cold popsicles by the pool. Late night outdoor movies and live music under the stars at Red Rocks. Chats around the campfire and sunset picnics at the park. These are the days and we embrace the feeling that June offers trying to hang on for as long as we can, because we are all too familiar with the reality that it slips away too soon.

We hope you enjoy every last drop of this month.
