We’re living in a fast-paced world where stress has become a constant and unwelcomed companion for many. From work and family demands to pressures of an always-connected digital lifestyle, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. When we first learned about Cereset, their approach and the services they provide, it seemed to instantly align with our innate desire for balance, and overall well-being. We were lucky to meet with Gina Fontaine, Manager and Tech Coach of the Cherry Creek branch, to learn more about their practice and services.
For those of our readers who aren’t familiar with Cereset, can you tell us about your services and how they help your brain to relax and reset?
Cereset® is a unique wellness and neuroscience solution that uses BrainEcho® technology to help the brain heal itself naturally. This technology reflects the brain’s rhythms back to itself in real time, enabling the brain to recognize imbalances, relax deeply, and reset its natural rhythm—all without drugs, invasive techniques, or external manipulation.
Backed by independent trials at Wake Forest School of Medicine, Cereset has been proven effective in improving restful sleep, reducing stress, and alleviating trauma. A $2.8 million U.S. Department of Defense grant supports ongoing studies into its benefits for military personnel with mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI) and post-traumatic stress (PTS). More than just a wellness service, Cereset offers individuals hope and balance.
How did you get involved with Cereset and what did you do before?
Cereset came into my life when I was struggling as a single mom of three teens. As a personal trainer in the post-pandemic world in 2022, I was pretty burnt out from hours of online coaching and training with clients. In short I was burnt out from a long 27 year career in the fitness industry. At that time, a good night of sleep for me was 3-4 hours. I regularly snapped at my kids and my executive function had been absent since my divorce in 2017.
Now I can say those days are behind me thanks to the neural regulation and brain balance Cereset has provided and I am living in relative peace with my family. One dramatic change was in my 21-year-old son, who once engaged in risky behaviors and was even jailed at 15. Thanks to the inner calm I gained, I could better support him emotionally and financially. Today, he’s thriving, living independently, and managing a store for a prominent telecommunications company.
Many of us suffer from brain fog, stress, anxiety, depression, and memory problems. What are some other conditions that Cereset would be helpful for?
Stress and trauma can force the brain into imbalanced states, locking it in “fight-or-flight” or “freeze” modes. This can lead to restless nights, constant worry, fatigue, or feelings of hopelessness. Cereset helps clear what I call “mental clutter,” enabling the brain to function better. Most clients notice meaningful improvements in stress management within just 2 to 5 sessions.
Is Cereset just for adults, or are children also candidates?
Children, especially teens facing immense pressure, stand to benefit greatly from Cereset. For example, a mom and her two high-performing teens visited Cereset. One child, a stage actor who attended a STEM school during a 2019 school shooting, faced potential trauma but found new confidence and composure after Cereset. Even during a performance marred by microphone feedback that resembled gunshots, he stayed calm and performed without a hitch.
Parents are encouraged to try Cereset first to better support their kids during sessions. At our Cherry Creek location, we offer family discounts on packages.

Who would be your most ideal candidate?
The best candidates are proactive individuals who want to take charge of their wellness. At Cereset, success comes when clients participate actively in their health journeys, instead of expecting quick fixes or magic solutions.
Are there actions we can take at home to complement the services you provide?
Absolutely. Practices like yoga, Tai Chi, and deep breathing exercises pair well with Cereset’s brain-balancing approach. Ask us about our

Breathwork to Calm and Balance the Brain Stress class, and other upcoming events.
When you’re not in the clinic, how do you spend your free time?
I am a member of the Wash Park Tennis Club and Colorado Athletic Club Monaco and I play tennis 4 – 5 days a week. My dog Tucker is an avid walker who gets me outside walking the Highline Trail or Cook Park every morning. Yoga is a daily practice if even just one sun salutation. And of course, life with 2 teenagers is full of activity, too.
What can we expect from you in the future?
The future for Cereset® is incredibly exciting. Our growing body of research, combined with the extraordinary impact we’ve already had on hundreds of thousands of lives globally, points to a world where everyone has access to the benefits of a truly balanced brain. We’re committed to expanding the accessibility of our technology, both through our network of over 60 Cereset centers and through continued collaboration with researchers, healthcare providers, and institutions that share our vision.
