“Practice any art, music, singing, dancing, acting, drawing, painting, sculpting, poetry, fiction, essays, reportage, no matter how well or badly, not to get money and fame, but to experience becoming, to find out what’s inside you, to make your soul grow.”

– Kurt Vonnegut

August in some ways embodies the “Sunday Scaries” vibe. Summer is coming to a close and Fall is only weeks away. It leaves us feeling a bit frantic. Frantic to fill the days with every last bucket list item. But at the same time, we’re filled with hope and anticipation for the clean slate that comes with a new season. School, sports, routines, all of it comes with new beginnings and potential for growth. Here’s hoping you make your soul grow through art, family, love and peace.
