Another year in the books. How is it possible that year after year, we continue to be shocked at how quickly the time flies by? Was it the best year? Well, if you’re reading the headlines, you’d probably have to pause at this question. We are confident that you’re paying attention and don’t need a list of what could have gone better. It’s much more fun for us to mention that what didn’t fail this year was you. Our community proved again to be full of philanthropists, artists, musicians, poets, hard-working entrepreneurs and individuals who genuinely make it a daily practice to do good

in the world. And we are certain that this trajectory will only gain momentum, which makes us hopeful for the coming year. Finally, being huge film and music fans, it has to be mentioned that if 2019 gives us anything even remotely close to Janelle Monet’s “Dirty Computer, “ HBO’s “Sharp Objects” and the film “Eighth Grade,” then we have much to look forward to. Hats off to you for all of your accomplishments in 2018 and Cheers to new beginnings!
