“The Pink Parachute Project” exhibit at Black Crow Gallery is an uplifting women’s empowerment image series created by the Austin photographer Teodora Pogonat. The series is a provocative photographic exploration depicting women overcoming symbolic struggles and celebrates their strengths, all with the use of a 30 lb. 1967 British Military pink parachute in symbolic environments. Photographed in multiple locations around the country, Denver is featured prominently and this exhibit is a “homecoming” for the series. Free beverages and light fare provided for rsvp’d guests.
