JULY 5–30 – Artists on Santa Fe Gallery

Abstract painter, Laura Brenton explores ways of seeing and making sense of what’s in front of us. Using soft edges, organic marks, and overlapping shapes of color, she leads us through the unknown. “Opening a window to look at things in new ways is what I’m reaching for in my work.”  Reflecting her dance background, Laura uses texture, expressive lines, and color to create a sense of movement. She works intuitively, exploring the chaos of the world that swirls around us. Laura is inspired by the magic of uncovering form and color, seeking beauty, mystery and connection in her paintings. Her work has been highlighted in “Denver Life Magazine,” “Canvas Rebel,” “Travel Boulder,” and “Creative Sanity: Where Art Meets Presence.” In addition to Blurring Boundaries, other fine art will be displayed in the gallery by resident artists, including paintings, ceramics, jewelry, mixed media and sculpture. Artist Reception July 21st, 5:00 – 8:00 pm
