THRU MARCH 31 – Niza Knoll Gallery

Niza Knoll Gallery is joining the Month of Printmaking celebration with a juried exhibition that showcases Alternative Printmaking techniques. Artists were asked to submit work crafted using methods such as monotype, collagraphy, gelli printing; printing with found objects, etc., or to creatively incorporate traditional techniques like woodcut, etching, engraving, lithography, and screen printing into an artwork of another medium. Gallerist Niza Knoll chose the most compelling of these submissions to put on display. The show will be on view from March 1 through March 31 during regular business hours Thursday–Sunday, 1-4 pm and during these special events. The March 16 demonstration is a free drop-in event where Artist Victoria Eubanks will show visitors how to make prints using a gelatin plate. This method requires no printing press and is a fast and fun way to start making art! Niza Knoll Gallery is located at 915 Santa Fe Drive in Denver’s popular Art District on Santa Fe and specializes in intriguing conceptual exhibits.
