NOW ON VIEW – 3485 S. Broadway
January 2026 marks one year since artist and gallerist Nicole Korbe moved to 3485 S. Broadway, establishing EASEL as a new art hub for Downtown Englewood, and moving her four-year-old gallery, NKollectiv, in as an anchor for the space. In celebration of this exciting year and the talented artists who helped create a dynamic, welcoming atmosphere, they are inviting the community to enjoy two exhibitions and a chance to win a gift certificate to the gallery! The juried show will offer a People’s Choice Award based on voting by the public. Visitors can vote throughout the run of the exhibition and can enter a drawing for a $250 gallery gift certificate. The drawing will take place during the closing reception on February 14; entrants need not be present to win. Colorado artists were invited to enter work exploring the theme of “connection” in its most expansive sense. The first year was a positive one for Nkollectiv and EASEL, marked by creative growth and community engagement. Ten NKollectiv artists were featured in semi-solo exhibitions, and work by over 80 guest artists was showcased. Classes in drawing, watercolor, painting, collage, and encaustic were taught, and visitors participated live demonstrations and interactive art-making experiences.
