During the Stay-At-Home order in 2020, Wonderbound immediately pivoted to producing new virtual offerings, and this work included dance tutorials designed for the whole family to engage. During that time, those videos were used in curriculum by schools across the Denver metro area, as well as around the country.
As summer approached, COVID-19 restrictions did not permit Wonderbound to provide its Community Education Programs in person in 2021; however, the organization has built upon its video work achieved during 2020 to improve upon its offerings!
In May 2021, Wonderbound created 41 new dance tutorial videos – a continuation of the well-received Dance Along! Series.
These videos began their release last week and will continue into July and August 2021. They will be distributed to schools across the Denver metro area including Adams County Schools, Denver Public Schools and Jefferson County Schools in early September.
Wonderbound has also recently established partnerships with Mental Health Centers of Denver, Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schrek, Denver Ballet Guild and AMG National Trust Bank to increase access to this virtual content. The tutorials will be available on Wonderbound’s website – completely free of charge.
